Teatro del Pueblo seeks submissions for its Eighth Annual Political Theatre Festival!

We are looking for 15 to 50 minute one-act plays dealing with political issues pertaining to Latino Social Justice. 

Scripts must follow the following requirements:

-No more than 3 actors

-Have minimal properties/set (no more than 3 set pieces)

-Follow the 2009 theme of Social Justice in Latin American (For examples of what we have in mind, feel free to contact us)

-Submissions may be in English, Spanish, or both

Submissions must be received by June 15, 2008 to be considered for the 2009 event. 

Both mail and e-mail submissions are acceptable, email is preferred.

Mailed scripts will not be returned unless a SASE is included. 

We will be in touch no later than August 15, 2008 with our decisions.
