Educational Tours

This season we will continue to tour a number of educational shows throughout the upper Midwest, including Minnesota, Wisconsin,  Iowa, and areas of North and South Dakota.  By making our programming easily accessible to teachers and students, we expose Latino students to their rich cultural heritage and give non-Latino students a unique cultural experience, helping them to become more aware and appreciative of cultural diversity.  Touring offers a fun and educational opportunity for your school to

  • Save on transportation costs since we bring the play to your school
  • Promote diversity
  • Enhance the educational experience

Theatre Residencies

There are two specific needs to which the theatre residency project caters:  The community’s need and the school’s need for cross-cultural bridges, and the student’s need for positive arts programming.  Our drama program assists schools in meeting their arts curriculum while emphasizing customized subjects such as Spanish language skills, history, diversity, and creative drama.  Teachers and artist work together in developing the residency’s focus in order to meet the needs of the classroom.  Students are encouraged to use their imaginations and stretch their boundaries in a nurturing and positive environment.  Residencies offer unique learning experiences that

  • Complement existing language, history, and humanities curriculum while exposing students to the art of theatre
  • Celebrate cultural diversity by exposing non-Latino students to a unique cultural heritage while celebrating that heritage with Latinos in the population.
