DESCRIPTION:A development program focused on new works by emerging Latino artists. \n\n\n\n\n\nTeatro del Pueblo Visión-es is excited to present a work-in-progress showing of Los Profanadores de la Calle Arenas created and directed by Lelis Brito. Entirely in Spanish\, this event immerses guests in the narrative of a family of graverobbers living in a Caribbean cemetery fifty years in the future when the days are hotter\, water is scarcer and they are torn between what they desire and what the world wants for them. Experience song\, movement\, and some participation. As our guest\, be part of the initial creation through your attendance and feedback. Los Profanadores de la Calle Arenas will be performed at the Playwrights’ Center on December 14th at 7pm. \n\n\n\nThe cast includes Alejandra Iannone\, Alex Barreto Hathaway\, Alfonso Lichtenwalter\, Johanna Keller Flores\, José Sabillón\, Juan Fiz-Torezani\, Masanari Kawahara\, Mariadela Belle Alvarez\, Samuel Osborne-Huerta\, and Sheila Colmenares.
